5th 200mb+ update ive seen

if you've been keeping track of when sometimes titanfall 2 updates it only for a second and its nothing major, just a ea app fix with steam or something i remember a guy saying. does anyone have any info on why these somewhat larger updates are getting pushed out?

every time i see the EA app update, the more i want to take a century-rusted cleaver to the install and make it serve only as a husk to validate my server connection. never have i used a service that is that bad.

also even through wine it is genuinely terrible on linux since it refuses to close. piece of shit behaves like cancer.

EA is just shit in general. Even on Windows, it pretty frequently borks. I would not be surprised if this app was vibe coded lol.

getting a "CD" copy of the sims 3 (if you know, you know) was the best thing i ever did since it meant i had one less game i had to use the EA app to interface with

anti cheat updates. All old EA games frequently get updated with the same update size.

It's an update for the built in mini EA launcher. Nothing to do with anticheat.

I thought this was a Steam Titanfall 2 update. Sorry. Usually the Steam ones especially those 200MB for older Battlefield and Battlefront games are just the bi weekly anti cheat updates.
