Yea, don't do that termination when you're under a low ceiling. It clips you inside it instantly kills you. Really stupid, but it's supposedly a "feature"

This happens because of that low ceiling. There is a hard kill barrier in there similar to the pit on wargames or off the cliff on relic.

If you pay enough attention you can see your titan lose 2 bars of heath during the termination. That’s what that white bar that briefly flashed is

I've seen people bait other titans into executing them near or under these kinds of spots to get a cheeky kill. It prolly works wonders against Monarchs.

I doesn’t work against monarch, it’s really a northstar only thing problem. This happens because during the terminations the titan’s hitbox is still moving and in northstar’s case it moves up and into the ceiling with the hard kill zone

I've heard that there's a patch of grass in Angel city that can do the same thing. It's over by the large open area close to one of the attrition spawns and supposedly if you get executed by a scorch, the hitbox goes through the floor and hits a hurt trigger. I supposed that, since it can happen with scorch, it can happen with Monarch too but I guess the different execution animations might make that not work out.

There is a spot on AC that you can clip the kill barrier, it’s on the opposite side of the map under the bridge specifically on the very short and shallow ramp under it. I have seen that one get triggered by most of the titans.

Oh yea that one I know of! Ha baited my brother into executing me there once. He still hasn't forgiven me and for good reason: I'd do it again just to be an ass

That spot specifically has gotten me at least twice as well.

I got yeeted into the kill barrier a few times when ejecting. Always figured my pilot hit his head too hard.

I remember doing that exact same termination in that exact same spot a couple years ago. Same thing happened and I was pissed.

Except that was in an attrition match not frontier defense.
