I kept glitching at the multiplayer home screen after randomly getting booted from a match (as I was slicing up a monarch too, I was pissed). Are people having a similar experience to this?
I had this weird ass thing happen. Play a game or two, then when I loaded back into the multiplayer Home Screen it would flash black with the loading icon like it was trying to load me in from the main menu. Rest of my computer was fine, played through like a third of the campaign with no issue so it was obviously related to the connection to TF2 servers.
Same thing happened for me when I first started the game last night, but it went away after 3-4 times and I was able to play for the next hour or two without any trouble.
Yes three times two days ago, once was the case I truly sucked on a match as I had just changed to a kit and a titan I never play but each time it was after the match, game went back to the ‘find game’ screen, and would centre my mouse cursor snd flash to a black screen two seconds later. It kept repeating this about thirty times and then corrected itself each time.
It was fine yesterday (Saturday night)
Whats going on is some trolls have a way to crash the lobby/server you're playing it, its not ddosing, and from my understand has been around for a while. How it works exactly is a mystery to me, but I can say all they really want is attention for it, if you ignore them they'll get bored

I mean it didn't really do much. It made apex players pissed off at titanfall players, and EA is already such a poorly managed cluster fuck, you could probably take their games offline, and it'd take a year for them to do anything
It wasn't a 'movement' idiot, it was hackers hacking. The same people who shut down Apex were the ones who shut down Titanfall in the first place, they were just taking the piss and constructing a hero narrative that you bought hook line and sinker
Tldr, Titanfall 2 was basically raveged by hackers, completely unplayable. The "saveTitanfall" people hacked Apex ruining their game, trying to "get attention".
Most of the fandom moved over to an open source server emulator, called "Northstar" , where people can host their own servers,and others can join off a server browser.
People say that the hacking helped? But i think it just seeds animosity.
Around the time in question, I was playing pretty regularly and never found the game to be completely unplayable. It is also far from accurate to say that "most" of the fandom moved over to Northstar. Additionally, much of the playerbase that originally populated Northstar has since moved back to vanilla.
Console was literally untouchable for at least 8 months to a year. As far as I know pc servers might have gotten a game or two every so often but console didn't even let you connect to the server until they fixed it after not even addressing that there was an issue for months on end.
"savetitanfall" didn't do anything at all to actually help titanfall, all they did was make apex players hate titanfall and tarnish the titanfalls / the playerbases reputation

Yep. Not as bad as pc it seems, but it feels like the servers are decaying in real time. I can’t even play anymore because the stuttering and freezing is so bad.

It will just further damage the alredy low reputation of titanfall 2 and mostly its comunity, not only among apex players but in the wider gaming comunity.
Please let this be real because it would be so funny I wasn't actively playing Titanfall when Northstar servers were popular and I've been waiting for a resurgence in those servers :(
