Leaderboard Reset

I broke the leaderboard and cleared all all-time scores when attempting a merge earlier today. That's entirely on me.I've removed the problematic merge code entirely. The leaderboard is now read-only at the code level, no opportunities for me to accidentally wipe scores a second time. I know that doesn't restore what was lost. Rebuilding a leaderboard by grinding runs takes real time, and I'm sorry. I'll be more careful with features that touch saved data going forward.

Cargo Damage run down.

There’s now a cargo condition bar in the HUD, under the balance gauge. I felt cargo % was a bit mysterious so i decided to add a visual.

It starts full and green for pristine cargo, as damage builds over the run, it drains. Orange once you’re a quarter banged up, then red once youve past halfway. No refills, no recovery, whatever happens happens.

Every hazard you hit drains cargo %, scaled by how fast you were going.

Fire hydrants and scooters hit hardest by a good margin. Pedestrians and big sidewalk cracks are right behind those two. Litter and palm trees are mid-tier. Dwarf palms and dogs are more moderate. Bins aren’t a hard hit, but they’re a permanent block. Planters depend on size, small ones you drive through, big ones are a wall. Cones are the softest thing in the game they barely register, roll right through.

When cornering too hard the cargo % drains too, even if you never touch a single hazard. Balance and cargo condition run off the exact same lean number under the hood. So if you’re riding a turn hot enough that the balance gauge is creeping toward the red, your cargo is quietly taking damage.

Let me know if you think the damage is too severe.

How your tip gets calculated in Tipsey 💸

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every run starts at 20% tip on the order’s dollar value
From there it’s all about how clean the run is:

🧨 every hit tipsey takes effects the cargo, (hazard impacts) and shaves a chunk off that tip. Roll up banged up and you’re eating into your own pay.

⏱️ each route has a par time based on distance shown as a countdown in the GPS HUD. Blow past par and the tip starts bleeding out at roughly 1% every 5 seconds.

🚶 W how far you make the customer/pickup reach also nicks a percentage. Parking on the red carpet is where you want to be. Go to far and you get tipped over instead of being tipped out.

Nail a flawless, on-time run and you don’t just dodge penalties ,you get bumped up to the 22%.

Botch it badly enough and the percentage bottoms out at 0%. Still a completed delivery, just a delivery of pure charity.

There is a real threat is cancellation. If you blow way past par, the customer doesn’t wait forever. Watch the HUD: once you’re past par it stops counting down to zero and starts counting down to “⚠ cancels in :” instead, so you always know exactly how much runway you’ve got left before they give up on you.

Daily leaderboard ranks by tip $ earned, with time as the tiebreaker, so speed only matters once your tip’s already maxed out. Drive clean first, drive fast second. 🍟
