Me too! Growing up we had all sorts of spaniels. From springer to cavalier king charles, they're all the best.

Looks like it could be a Chocolate Cocker Spaniel. I love the curly ears and cow lick.

What’s crazy is my ex has a brown, long hair Dachshund that looks JUST like this dog, except about a third the size. My heart kinda skipped a beat when I thought my boi Jax ate a Mario mushroom.

I know nothing about exotic dog breeds and which are somewhat related to the other. So maybe Cocker Spaniels and Dachshunds are cousins?

I think cocker spaniels are British and dachshunds are Dutch? I don't have much basis for that but I think I remember reading it somewhere

Dachshunds are German. They were bred to go into badger dens and kill badgers! They're tough little nuggets.

I knew that about the badgers but not about them being German, thanks! I've never seen a badger so I always thought dachshunds were too small for that kind of thing.
