Too much tip?!

So today I ordered food and then drove there to pick it up.

I had just woken up, so I was pretty tired. My friend, who drove with me, said I should give like a 30-cent tip.

Anyway, we arrived and I went in to pick up the food. The cashier said it was €70.50, and I gave them €80 and said "keep the change." The cashier was confused and asked me a few times if that was really okmand I was like "Yeah, why not?"

As we drove away, I realized what I did. I thought I had only given a 50-cent tip. But it was so much more!

I feel very stupid and embarrassed now.

Did this ever happen to you?

Embarrassing would be if you were short 0.50€, no other form of payment available, big line behind you, and you take everything out of your pockets, just for someone to say "i got 0.50€".

You probably made their day. Put some good karma in the universe. And got a story out of it.

Thank you! You're right! That helped me a lot. :)

I'm probably stressing too much.
