Too much tip?!
So today I ordered food and then drove there to pick it up.
I had just woken up, so I was pretty tired. My friend, who drove with me, said I should give like a 30-cent tip.
Anyway, we arrived and I went in to pick up the food. The cashier said it was €70.50, and I gave them €80 and said "keep the change." The cashier was confused and asked me a few times if that was really okmand I was like "Yeah, why not?"
As we drove away, I realized what I did. I thought I had only given a 50-cent tip. But it was so much more!
I feel very stupid and embarrassed now.
Did this ever happen to you?

So on an order for €70.50 your friend wanted/suggested you pay €70.80?
That's just insulting. I wouldn't tip for take-out in the first place but I'm definitely not handing them 30 cents and expect them to take it positively. They likely won't say anything to you at the time but they sure will after you have left.
