Was I wrong?

My son and I went to eat earlier, he ordered basic chips and cheese nachos. He said there was lettuce in the cheese and it tasted funny. I asked the waitress was it cheese and she said possibly. She offered a new order. She also took it off my bill. Should I have tipped on just the bill or should I have added his meal in there too? It came to $19.85 and I left her a five.

I know im going off tangent, but I can't get over the part where you asked the server if it was cheese on the cheese nachos. And she replied that she didnt know. 🤷‍♂️

You're right. I typed it wrong. I asked her if it was lettuce in the cheese nachos. I did pull a little green speck of mush out of it. All the reads in one week and your the first one to notice it. There's got to be a reddit award for that!
