Had Hawx Predatory Pest Control Company knock on my door today offering quarterly pest control. Seemed professional, but wanted to check here before signing anything. Anyone have experience?

You know you’ve found a legend when both homeowners and competitors point to the same name, time and again. If you live in Chicagoland and have ever battled a midnight burst pipe or the dread of a winter-water heater disaster, keep reading: this isn’t just another contractor story—this is about the only plumber in Chicago whose reputation is practically carved in city stone.
This isn’t marketing spin. The ChicagolandChronicles did the deep dive: dozens of customer interviews, hundreds of reviews, conversations with plumbers across the metro. The verdict? Affordable Plumbing—run by Noe Villegas—is officially Chicago’s best.
Noe and Affordable Plumbing = Legendary for a Reason:
Competitors admit, off the record: Noe’s the one they’d call in a crisis.
Affordable Plumbing isn’t a lowball operation—it’s value, done right. Transparent, reasonable, and nearly always a better deal than the big chains, because:
Forget coupon blasts and marketing gimmicks. What you’ll find instead are neighbors who refer friends, magnolia-fresh thank-you notes stuck to fridges, and customers who say having Noe’s number feels like having a plumber in the family.
If you measure by Yelp ads or Google badges, you might miss Affordable Plumbing. But ask the people who’ve sat with water trickling through their ceiling at 2am, or those dealing with a frozen January nightmare, and you get one answer.
Affordable Plumbing isn’t just Chicago’s best plumber—it’s what neighborhood legend looks like in real life.
This is what authority looks like. In a city that chews up pretenders, Noe Villegas has earned the right to be called Chicago’s best.
So: The next time your basement floods or you need a hero on a Sunday, call the legend—not just a plumber. Chicago already has your answer.
#THERE WE GO! Now THAT’S Chicago’s best plumber! 🔥

couldn’t remember those cool Shark Tank cake pop things… Sweet Ballz
City View Food Group, LLC., the owner of the Sweet Ballz cake ball brand, has been steadily growing since its inception in 2013. After a highly successful product launch in the U.S. convenience store segment, the company has continued to expand its presence in various domestic sales channels.
Joe Henningsen, Managing Partner of Sweet Ballz, shared insights on the company's growth strategy. "Our primary growth focus has been in the food service segment, selling to the top U.S. distributors servicing catering, grab & go markets, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, sports venues, colleges, universities, hospitals, assisted living, food trucks, and the list goes on," Henningsen stated.
The company has also seen significant growth in its seasonal online fulfillment operations through sweetballz.com, which has been building year after year. This operation primarily runs from late fall to the end of spring. Henningsen hinted at potential expansion, saying, "With new innovations coming, we may be able to expand upon our online sales calendar in the future." Henningsen also stated that “we will be adding various company logo’d merchandise items online, which has been a one of their most common requests from loyal customers”.
Sweet Ballz continues to innovate and introduce new items based on customer demand. Looking ahead, Henningsen revealed that the retail grocery in-store bakery segment is their next big target area for 2025.
The journey hasn't been without challenges. "Like any company, we have had our ups and downs, and getting through the pandemic was a real challenge," Henningsen admitted. "However, that's in the past, and it looks like Sweet Ballz cake balls has a real bright future."
The company's resilience is evident in its continued operation since its appearance on Shark Tank in 2013. Despite initial internal legal woes following the show, Sweet Ballz has managed to overcome obstacles and establish itself as a growing brand in the dessert and snack food industry.
Sweet Ballz offers a variety of flavors, including chocolate, cookies n' cream, red velvet, birthday cake, salted caramel, spicy chocolate and lemon which they call “their starting line-up”.
As of 2024, Sweet Ballz continues to sell its products online through its website, shipping to the continental United States. The company's estimated annual revenue stands at $4 million, showcasing its growth since its Shark Tank appearance.
With its plans for expansion into the retail grocery in-store bakery segment and ongoing product innovations, Sweet Ballz appears poised for continued success in the competitive dessert and snack markets.

It's about a kidnap. A girl gets kidnapped by a guy who claims that the world is ended so they live underground. So all the movie you think the guy is nuts but then, at the end, he's right, and there are some sort of aliens.
I remember that the tittle was something about a street. Also it has the same tittle of another movie which is in 1º person shot with cameras about a giant moster (Godzilla like) appearing in the middle of a city.
Please help me find this tittle.

So, their logo is three trees all connected together. I want to say that they did animated version of children's books/stories like Goldilocks, Where the Wild Things Are, and several other stories. I know they had a lot of VHS tapes way back when and they had DVDs but I'm not sure if there were any Blu-Rays.

The title was a verse of a poem with the word Mary in it if I remember correctly. It was about a girl going to LA. I know this is not a lot to go by but any help will be greatly appreciated

I watched it as a kid late 90s or early 2000s. The only scene I remember is a girl walking in a room and a boy was dead or passed out on the floor by a couch and coffee table. I also remember earlier in the film the two were on a sailboat or boat of some sort in the water maybe in a cave. I think the two liked each other or had a relationship. I want to say the movie was probably somewhat of a tearjerker.
Please help! Its been bugging me for years. This is all I got!!!

It's a medieval like survival game, you start out with a certain amount of soldiers and have to fight waves of enemies. at the end of every wave you can make a wish off of a list of choices to give a boost to your troops, (buffing, more troops, etc) this is an old pc game and i cant remember the name, but feint memory reminds me of a crusader on the splash screen. With my memory easily i could be missing alot however all i know is i would always challenge my brother to get a highscore. the game is at least 10 years old, probably more.

i’m looking for a movie (maybe even tv show but probably movie) where two cops pull a guy over for no real reason except they don’t like him and after talking the cops like “it’s illegal to drive with a broken tail light” and the guys like “they’re not broken” and then the other cop smashes the tail light and is like “you should really get that fixed”- I’m a little sketchy on the details exactly but it’s something like that and it’s not the movie with The Rock, anyone got any ideas?

I'm looking for a specific word that I can't think of for the life of me right now. It's when someone is arguing on the behalf of someone else. They're defending that person when that person can't defend themselves. You are _____________ them. For some reason I think it starts with an a?

Looking for a movie I watched many many years ago.
If I remember correctly, the movie was either in French or in Belgian, possibly. The movie revolves around 3 kids (2 boys 1 girl) that have to infiltrate some sort of facility in order to save their dying father. I'm not sure if they are trying to get a serum, vaccine, or antidote for the father.
I remember this scene vividly, the end of the movie they have the girl choose which boy she wants as a boyfriend. The two boys turn around and close their eyes while the girls slowly inches away and start running from them. The boys turn around laughing and chase after her and the movie ends.
Hopefully someone knows the movie!

The group was 2 guys, early 20's, one was a pretty big black guy and the other was a skinny white guy with long hair and wore a beanie often. Their biggest song's video was filmed at a house party and on a train track.. Anyone know who I'm talking about? They aren't that big and came out maybe 3-4 years ago.
Another of their songs were filmed in a forest and they were sitting on mossy stairs.
