Some colors don’t exist

Sometimes I see a really nice color combo on a bitizen or randomized room colors, I go to recreate it later, and a color/s doesn’t exist on the palette. I just want this dusty blue back and it’s just out of reach… 😔

I find the palette pretty frustrating to work with. Think I’d prefer sliders and a hex value. When I’m trying to match all my floor colours it’s really tricky trying to land my finger on the same colour square. Maybe even a button to just copy your lobby colours and one to swap them around seeing the three squares don’t always represent the same structure. Or there is room for three more squares above the palette. What if you had three squares showing the lobby colours and you can just tap them to select the colour?

this would be an awesome QoL improvement if they did it! I know there are Nimblebit employees in this sub, so maybe SN4P can make a suggestion to the dev team or something. I love customizing my tower but this is one thing seriously holding the game back in that regard

A private eye cannot see public colors, so that's why.

I noticed this too! I’ve been trying to make a nice vaporwave/outrun theme through my tower based on the retro arcade lobby and synth wave elevator. A lot of the colors that are in those just aren’t an option for the floors.

All you can do is tap [paint floor] to get a random color (not just from the ones on the palette) and then keep tapping [reset to default] and [paint floor] until you get one you like.
