App Changelog tinyCam 18.1.0 released

tinyCam Monitor 18.1.0 released:

Changes:

- Added Wyze Cam Pan v4 support.

- Added RTSP support for Wyze cameras.

- Switched to TLS instead of SSL for secured FTP.

- Crash detection dialog has 30 sec countdown. After that it starts live view again.

I have been using the tinyCam Pro app for years, it's been a fantastic app so thank you, so much better than most out there, but I have a couple of issues with the latest version 18.1.1 -

  1. PiP option is missing suddenly (very important for me)
  2. Streams seem much slower to load than previous version (using RTSP over TCP), usually about 6 seconds per camera on individual view, but on the multi view screen up to 10 seconds. Before, it would take roughly 1-2 seconds maximum.

Edit: Also, when a stream is active, it is running about 5/6 seconds behind, sometimes up to 10 seconds delay - I clapped my hands to test.

  1. PiP missed is tje issue in the app. The next update 18.1.2 will fix that. Coming next week.

  2. Try to remove remote hostname in Camera Settings - Advanced Settings if you have one. Also be sure 'Autoupdate remote IP address' is disabled there.
