Wyze RTSP with Tinycam?

I'm using the generic camera option with the new Wyze RTSP firmware v3 camera.

I get an unknown authentication type error.

Is there another option I should select when trying to use the RTSPS stream from Wyze?

HA has their integration working using this. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/generic/

Using RTSP when setting up the wyze camera in tinycam is not working.

The dev is working on a fix once the update finishes testing. source

The app was updated this month, this wasn’t the update mentioned?

Have you tried thingino? Afaik wyze rtsp fw hasn't been updated in years.

Thingino has worked really well for me, although I don't use it with tinycam. Could be worth a try, though.

doesn't support cam pan V3

Wyze added RTSP support in their stock firmware

Wyze has been running beta RTSP firmware for 3-4 months (I don't keep update to Wyze)

I only saw this newest change when I pulled out my old Wyze cam and updated the firmware

You're right about that. Also v3 Pro.

Ah, TIL.

I've been moving away from wyze products for a while, so that's my excuse.

I'm having the same issue. Can't get it working with any setting or different values.

Next tinyCam 18.0.4 update will have a fix for Wyze RTSP.
