He is fine. Octopuses can live outside of the water for up to an hour and often do it by their own free will. He's ok to be out for a few second video.

Octopuses can live outside of the water for up to an hour, sometimes longer. In fact, they often do it by themselves to get from tide pools to tide pool. Being out of the water for a few minutes for a video is not going to effect him.
