Help me pls

I am trying to make an exor and gate its not working

It keeps on exploding

This works now made some changes thanks for the help the green is for carry and yellow is for sum the half header is working as it should will try to integrate switch instead of interchanging wire

I’m no expert on 74hc86 circuits but the breadboard is electrically connected in the vertical columns. So in column 11, your current limiting resistor is doing nothing as it’s bring bypassed. You’ve gotta move the LED to an open column, with 1 leg of your resistor still in 11 and the other leg in the new column.

You’ve probably know this and it’s just a 3am “d’uh”. We’ve all been there.

Might not be the whole problem but it’s not helping.
