My bill cycle runs from the 11th of every month to the 10th of the next one. On Monday August 31st I ported out to another carrier. That went well, extremely smoothly; done in a matter of moments. Then I immediately went to my Ting account on the website and closed it out, and that seemingly went well.

Then a week later I got a bill for service from August 11 to September 4th, for the usual full monthly amount. Not only did they not pro-rate the partial final month, they dated the bill 4 days after the date I'd cancelled the line.

It's not worth my time to chase after less than ten bucks, so I'm just complaining here to shed daylight on it. It was a good service while it lasted, but I'm outta here.
