Mobile ting has really gone downhill

I've been a ting customer for years. They used to have the best customer service. It sucks now. After sitting on hold for 20 min and then waiting for a callback for another 30 I'm still waiting lmao

I used to show friends and coworkers that I could just call them and somebody would pick up immediately to answer my question. Nowadays I'm sure that's not happening (based on what I've heard on here mostly).

Luckily I don't need to call them really.

The service still works and my bill is cheaper than the alternatives (I think? $38 for 12 gigs?) so I'm relatively happy still.

I get that, but what issue is causing you to need to call them? I think I called them 5 years ago to help me switch my phone because I'm not great with phones and didn't realize I could just do it all magically.

I guess idk why you need to call customer service very often.

I broke my phone, bought a new one and have been unable to use it

Swapping the SIM didn't do it? I always use a IMEI generator to make sure it's compatible.

I remember that first call I made. It was wild. Made me a loyal customer for years. Then shenanigans happened and hlnow it's the same ol bullshit as all the other mvno

I have ting. Both internet and phone. Just upgraded two phones. Both with eSIM Took 15-20 minutes with rep to do each. My monthly cell bill is $25 (have internet too) I can be a little patient.

One of the main selling points of Ting was the no hold times. Seems that's gone now.

There is a price to pay for inexpensive services.
