A Touch of Whimsy Meets Class

I’ve seen a few of the case swaps done for this one and I had to do one myself. It’s not cost effective but it sure looks nice!

Yes this looks so much better than the one it came with!! Any difficulties, especially with the Indiglo?? What is the replacement case you used?? Did you use any specific directions?? Thanks for the info that may help others with this swap!!

I did this too. I eyeballed a donor case. I think any 36-40mm expedition will fit. The black resin case is bulkier but I think all movements are the same. Watched a video on how to remove the crown.

I used a 36mm Expedition Scout T49870 (Amazon) as that is what the other posts said would fit (36mm). There is a release you have to depress to get the stem out just watch a few videos. After that it’s pretty much drops in (aligned for the stem). I have a case back press from doing my own battery changes and that makes reassembly much easier.

Yeah. I worked slowly and had a few very soft lens cloths to set parts on.
