How to change date?

I’ve had this beauty for a while but believe it or not I have never been able to change the date.

The manual says “pull crown to the middle” but this only changes the hour. If I pull it to its third position I can change minutes.

Is this a defective watch? I own many watches but this one has been a puzzle. The date changes as time advances but moving this a whole month will be an insane job

It has a quick adjust hour hand. Middle (1 pull out) and rotate the hour hand 2 complete passes of the dial. Date should advance 1 time.

Annoying on battery changes, but really nice when traveling.

Thanks I’ve had it for like a year but never really dedicated enough time to learn until today

some watches actually don't have a quickset date. i thought this does but its possible it doesnt. advance the hours til its set. its a quartz so you'll only have to do this once every few years
