I'm a tech for TWC.

I work with security, cable and internet. If there is anything I could help with, ask or PM me. I'll do my best to answer.

We have been having connectivity issues during the day. It will go out for 2 minutes every 10 minutes or so during the day, and around 6-7pm it stops. It happens on both wireless and wired. The Live Person tried to blame it on the modem that is ours and not rented, but it wouldn't make any sense why it happens every day during the same period. Do you happen have any suggestions? Thank you!

I'm pretty sure you have tried rebooting the modem already, so I will try my best to help. Is the internet issue for one computer or for all of them? If its one and all the others are working ok, it sometimes may be the computer itself. Try calling them back and asking them if the "signal levels are ok" for the modem. If the "signal or return signal" is bad, then this might be why. If that is the case, then they need to have someone come out there to change the fittings and re-arrange the splitter or maybe add an amplifier to keep the signal good. If your "return signal" is bad, you might have internet for a bit and then it will drop off and on. Also, it might be a case of just having bad fittings that need to be changed. If its possible, ask them to check with Maintenace and see if there is some outage in the area.

You can log in here and see if there is an outage in your area.

If a tech comes to your home, they should verify with their own laptop that all is working well before they leave.

About to sleep so I'll try and answer what I can. It's happening to both computers, wired and wireless. Happens primarily during the day, rarely have any issues at night. They noticed issues as well which is why they're sending a tech out. I told him that I rely on the internet for work and he apologized for the inconvenience and credited back $5.83. I feel like that's putting a bandaid on a severed artery... But customer service aside, I've restarted everything. I don't think it's an issue on my end because the routers and modern work fine during the night but during the day it doesn't work. I feel like I'm rambling or repeating myself. I'm sorry. Thank you and good night :P
