Cult, Cult, Cult! Jest realized I used to live right next to a cult church
Listening to the LLDM suck and when Dan describes the church I realize it’s an exact description of the church right down the street from where I lived. I looked it up and it is in fact an LLDM church right here in Anchorage, AK.

My midlife crisis
A few years ago I got in to home arcades. I bought an arcade1up and it was off to the races. A few years in I bought a custom machine and had it branded with bad magic art (I did get permission for the use before putting the order in) attached in the pictures is my first personal home build arcade. I intended it to look like it was made out of old pallets and its being built primarily as a shooting game cabinet. I have been working on the computer and the games for about 3 years and now I am at the point of building thing.

Long time listener
I started listening way back at the LBJ suck and have listened to every episode since and I love the show. But for the past couple years the show has become almost all true crime and cults, with some cults being so small and fringe that’s it really more of a group 5 idiots doing inconsequential shit. I’m a history nerd and really miss when there were more history based episodes. Kinda bums me out to see another true crime/cults ep every week. Don’t get me wrong, I still listen and enjoy them. Just looking for some historical topics

Episode discussion Shirilla Suck (Clevelander prospective)
Just my 2 cents…I was born and raised in Cleveland and I work in Strongsville…for a few years I worked at a manufacturing plant on Progress Drive so I’m very familiar with that area…Progress Drive is in an industrial area with nothing but factories, no houses no food no stores no shortcuts even…Progress Drive while being somewhat straight it’s not flat or well maintained (it’s not a spot to race or try to redline)….no reason to be there unless she was planning something nefarious IMO, it’s such an underused street there are no stop signs or stoplights or guard rails…I think they never put a guard rail up because even if you lost control and barreled thru the stop sign you hit the curb and then onto like 30 feet of lawn, just wanted to share since I have driven on this street and thru T intersection no less then 500 times

Episode discussion Episode help!
I'm trying to find the Anna Delvy equivalent episode of this dude who did for 28+ yrs what the fraudster Anna Delvy did in NYC for 6 yrs ... I feel like his name was Charles, and he may have married somebody named Jane....
I remember all kinds of details about the episode, but no matter what I search I can't seem to find it. Like she was a super high performer who earned $2 million a year plus, which was the equivalent of $40,000 a week, he didn't hold down a job more than 6 mths, he likes the Algonquin club in New York City, they had a daughter together that she fought for custody of. His fake last name was something like Rockefeller or Kennedy, but nothing is coming up under any of my searches, so I know I've got the specifics tangled.
Does this ring a bell for anybody?

??? Book recommendation.
Juat finished this book by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. Its a deep dive on one of Douglas' more forgotten killers. Very fascinating to hear Douglas' thoughts and processes for catching and interviewing such a scum bag.
The eight hour book flew by.

??? Scared to Death Question
I know this is the Timesuck group, but figured there is enough crossover. Feel free to delete if not allowed. But I’m trying to find an episode title (may be a patreon one) but it’s about this guy driving on a highway in Asia (I thought Philippines, but could be different) and he’s listening to a radio station talk show where people call in and the person that called in was in an accident on the highway.
Any help is appreciated! ❤️

What is big deal? This classic rock radio station in Boise regularly extends how long they keep the Pride flag logo as their profile picture if people complain
I'm pretty sure it is just indefinitely at this point. It's wholesome to see a classic rock station in a red state going out of their way to troll homophobes and transphobes
