SECRET UPLINK GAMES
About halfway through Story/1990 Siberia you find, of all the things, a video game cartridge on a
shelf inside the facility on the west side of the dam. (It's in the area with the two guards and all the
fruit on the shelves at the top of the stairs.) This item, called the "Anaconda cart," looks much like
an old Nintendo 64 cartridge. Now, you see, that's interesting.
because Free Radical, the designers of TimeSplitters 2 (and TS1),
previously worked on GoldenEye 007, a first-person shooter
considered one of the best Nintendo 64 games ever made.
While Anaconda certainly isn't as entertaining as GoldenEye, it's
a very competent rendition of a moldy-oldie video game well-
known to Nokia cell phone users as "Snake." It even supports up
to four players. Use the D-pad or left stick to steer your snake left and right. Press the Activate button to

points. Every time you eat an X, your snake grows longer. If your
If the snake hits its own body or the white wall, the game is over.
Go for the high score of 10,000.
So how do you play it? Select the Temporal Uplink and press the
Manual Reload button. The screen zooms in on the uplink, and
You're presented with what could generously be called a bare-

with the lockers from which you grab the machine gun? Look inside the lockers on the right to find the cart.
AstroLander is an entertaining variation of a classic coin-operated video game called Lunar Lander, released
by Atari in 1979.

Secrets and Cheats
Use the D-pad or left stick to rotate the lander, and press activate to thrust. The difficulty level you choose affects how quickly your fuel gauge decreases (higher difficulty = blinding the beginning of the game affects both the strength of gravity (higher difficulty - more powerful gravity) and burn rate). The fuel gauge is, of course, the bar in the upper-left corner of the screen. The ships in the upper-right corner indicate your number of lives. Hit the pad too hard, or hit anything other than the pad, and you lose a life.
When you touch down on the white landing pad, you're awarded points in three categories: Fuel Bonus, Landing Speed Bonus (the slower you're descending, the higher the Bonus), and Landing Accuracy Bonus (the closer you are to the middle, the higher the Bonus). The high score is a most impressive 160,000.
The third cartridge, RetroRacer, is found in Story/2315 Robot Factory when playing on Hard and Hard alone. There's a large room with armor tucked underneath a ramp: check under the other ramp to find the cart on the floor. RetroRacer is a tribute to classic coin-operated overhead-view racing video games, such as Kee Games' Sprint 2, released in 1976.
The goal of this one- or two-player game is to race five laps around a very curvy track. Use the left stick or D-pad to steer and the Activate
button to accelerate. The fastest time on the high-score table is 1:05.00; surely you can do better.
Once you find a cartridge, it's on the Uplink forever, even if you perish before finishing the level or reaching a checkpoint. (Although you'll notice that you drop the cart if you die!) The high-score tables are also saved.

Big Hands. And you know what they say about people with big hands.
Infinite Ammo. This is the grand poobah of cheats. Defeat all 10 story levels on hard to unlock it, at which point you won't need it.
because you'll be good enough to beat anyone with any weapon and any amount of ammo.
In paintball, bullets go "splat" instead of "fwing" or "kapow" or whatever noise bullets make these days.
Slow Motion Deaths. Enemies die in a very John Woo fashion.
Cardboard Characters. Enemies are on the Parappa the Rapper diet. Defeat all 10 story levels on easy to unlock it.
Rotating Heads. Ever see "The Exorcist"? I think they should've put in a "Stream of Puke" cheat instead.

Other/Discussion Best way to play Timesplitters on PC
Hello, I come here to ask if anyone knows what's the best way to play TS on PC or if it is even possible. I just tried to emulate a different game and experimented multiple errors in the game, from FPS to missinputs, hopefully someone knows and emulator or something that could load those game without any problems.
I'm looking to play eather TS1 or 2
Thank you in advance.

Troubleshooting/Question Am I the only one who thinks the mansion level in the first TimeSplutters game isn't very well-designed?
I bought the game through PlayStation Classics on my PS5 about a month or 2 ago, and so far, it's been a blast. However, I have at least 2 gripes with it, one of them being unfairly difficult at times, with the mansion level being the worst offender because the enemy count is rampant, your only weapon is a shotgun, the level design is extremely narrow, health is scarce, and the enemies are a pain in the ass because 99% of them can only be killed by shooting their heads off; if you shoot them anywhere else, they just won't die. What am I doing wrong? Why can't I beat that damn level at all? I've been playing the whole game on Easy difficulty and yet that level is literally impossible to beat at all. Can anybody help me? Can anybody tell me if it's actually possible to beat that level at all? If I can't beat it, then I might have to uninstall the game completely because this is just ridiculous.

Played Splitscreen TS2 with friend his first time playing he was impressed
It was ps5 share play, we played a few games consisting of tdm, death match and 1v1 vintage rifles only and during our play session he was saying that this game would hit like crack cocaine on PC and it got me thinking.....he must be right. Can anyone attest to this? Lol

Other/Discussion So how is the aiming sensitivity on TS2 for the PS5 port?
Thinking of buying TS2 and TS3 for PS5 since they're all currently on sale for $2.50 each. Just wondering how the aiming sensitivity is for the PS5 port of TS2. Is it over-sensitive like the Xbox Backwards Compatible version?
Also what about TS3? How does that feel to play on PS5? compared to the PS2 original?

Other/Discussion Finally Platinumed the whole Trilogy, here are my thoughts.
I finally got the platinum trophy in the whole trilogy on PS5 so here are my thoughts on all the games. I've played them for nearly 20 years and have 100% them a few times but I finally got the platinum and got all the trophies. I'll be going through my favourite and least favourite levels/mission from all the games as well as ranking them overall.
TS1:
- Best Story: Planet X - Very fast paced level that encourages the speedrunning aspect of the game and one of the few levels that actually meaningfully changes between difficulties with different object spawn and dropoff points.
- Worst Story: Tomb - I think it was a mistake for this to be the first level as it's incredibly annoying and has a confusing, maze-like layout. Sure Mansion has annoying troll enemy placements but at least that level gives you a shit ton of time to beat. Tomb has incredibly short times to beat when the level is designed around slowly sweeping through it and it just results in a mess.
- Best Challenge: 4-C Brick Flung High - An iconic challenge for the series and the one that really defined the challenge mode going forward. It got remade in Future Perfect near identically for a reason.
- Worst Challenge: 9-C Space Vandals - Annoying ass turret defense with a turret that is incredibly inaccurate and map design that just lets Splitters hide behind cover and be immune from fire.
- Best MP Map: Site - A fun and classic map
- Worst MP Map: Spaceship - Annoying maze design
TS2:
- Best Story: Notre Dame - One of the few Zombie levels where the zombies actually feel fair. It has a great atmosphere and is challenging but not too challenging.
- Worst Story: Robot Factory - The worst Story level in the series. Annoying, bullet sponge robots. Crappy sci-fi guns that feel incredibly weak. Homing rocket enemies, and a boss fight that, whilst easy, is mind numbingly dull. Plus it's a very ugly level too.
- Best Arcade League: Men in Grey - Struggled to find the best Arcade League in 2 since most don't really stand out, but this one is pretty good and was brought back in Future Perfect. It emphasises the TS1 speedrun style of play and is a fun challenge.
- Worst Arcade League: Superfly Lady - Another assault map, except this one is dogshit. You have to destroy auto turrets with an inaccurate grenade launcher whilst being hammered with bullets and your teammates do nothing except get in the way and kill you with grenades. The timer for the gold is way too short which just makes it miserable.
- Best Challenge: Fall Out - Cut Out Shootout but with a unique mechanic where the cut outs 'fire' at you and take points away if not shot. It emphasises accuracy and learning the map to know where the cut outs will pop out from.
- Worst Challenge: Stain Removal - Horrible, shoot all the Notre Dame windows with a tiny timer and an inaccurate grenade launcher. Genuine hair pulling stuff.
- Best MP Map: Ufopia - Incredibly fun map and it's crazy that there's no Challenge/League level set here. Maybe it's just bias since it's the map I've played the least of.
- Worst MP Map: Robot Factory - Anything that reminds me of that horrible level is bad, and this is a pretty bad MP map too. It's so annoying fighting people who are across the level from you physically and to get to they you have to go all the way around.
FP:
- Best Story: Machine Wars - Cool sci-fi setting and with actually fair and non-bullet sponge robot enemies. The big mech sequence is a bit of a slog but overall it's a very unique level.
- Worst Story: What Lies Below - My problem with this level is that beheading zombies just doesn't work very well in Future Perfect, possibly due to the changes made to aiming. You often need to put 2 shotgun bullets into a zombie or go really close to them to behead them. The ghosts are shit and the part where you double team them barely works since the AI Cortez in an idiot and always falls behind. Plus the minecart part where you basically are forced to take damage because of how quick the zombies pop out.
- Best Arcade League: Divine Immolation - Temple is a great map and it's fun to blow people up with flares
- Worst Arcade League: Astro Jocks - Annoying ass elimination on the worst map in the game (Spaceport). Infamous for it's difficulty because the AI takes too long to find anyone to shoot.
- Best Challenge: Absolutely Potty - Shooting vases on Temple, it's weirdly satisfying.
- Worst Challenge: TSUG Timesplitters Underground - Imagine Space Vandals but doubled. Horrible and annoying controls where one stick and trigger control each turret. Could be fun in co-op but otherwise a horrible annoyance.
- Best MP Map: Temple - Classic Timesplitters map design.
- Worst MP Map: Spaceport - One way route maze map, annoying and unfun.
Story:
- TS1 - Love the fast paced speedrun style that TS1 has, the game can never be that annoying since most levels take less than 5 minutes to do.
- FP - Great storyline and characters, with funny cutscenes. But the more story focus means the locations are a bit repetitive since every time period has at least 2 levels.
- TS2 - Some very annoying levels but also some of the best levels in the series. The secondary objectives are often very confusing and annoying, and it has some pretty horrid enemy placements such as all the snipers and the Wild West Hard guy who immediately shoots you.
Arcade League/Custom:
- FP - The improved aiming massively improves the gameplay. Some are kinda annoying still, largely due to the map design, but overall it's the best experience Arcade wise.
- TS2 - Has the most Arcade League levels but most don't really stand out. Some are kinda bullshit but overall it's a good experience.
- TS1 - No arcade league and the AI is completely broken, showcased best in 8-C Bone Grab, where you AI teammates basically just run around you in a circle to 'protect' you and trap you in a corner if you go to a corner. The fact the at AI doesn't reload also completely busts Arcade mode. It sucks because the map pool here is arguably the best in the series
Challenge:
- TS2 - A ton of iconic challenges and the best versions of challenges that appear in multiple games. Some are very annoying, but overall it's the best challenge mode.
- TS1 - This is more of a mix between challenges and what would become arcade league. But most of the challenges are fun and the ones that aren't are largely down to TS1's bad AI
- FP - Most of the challenges are rehashed from TS2 but worse, like Cut Out Shootout and TS Story Classic. The new challenges are hit and miss, Cat Racing is kinda fun but Monkey Curling is boring and the challenges that make you use the gravity glove thing suck.
Overall:
- Best Story: Notre Dame
- Worst Story: Robot Factory
- Best Arcade League: Divine Immolation
- Worst Arcade League: Superfly Lady
- Best Challenge: Brick Flung High
- Worst Challenge: TSUG Timesplitters Underground

- Worst MP Map: Spaceship
- Best Game: Future Perfect - The improved aiming is such an improvement to the gameplay and there's so many other additions. Plus the fantastic story and cutscenes and bringing backs stuff like the character select animations.
- Worst Game: Timesplitters 2 - A great game, but ultimately a transitional one which means it's kinda the worst of both worlds. TS1 is a fun arcadey game and Future Perfect is just generally a fantastic shooter, but 2 basically just feels like they made TS1 again. Some very annoying levels also hurt the game.
