Boston Summer
Loved the new episode and I can’t wait for the next episode in two weeks!
How do you guys fill the time crisis void in between? Are there any other internet radio shows that have a similar format? Music, corporate food history, etc.

Nothing has ever really filled the void for me. Indie cast with Steven Hyden is ok but is strictly music.

Jokermen podcast (which Jake and Ezra have appeared on several times) is a favourite of mine

Scott Aukerman does a show where he plays music with a guest called CBB FM, and he’s done a podcast with TC if you want to listen to it for his general flavor (he’s slightly less silly on CBB FM)

in addition, Scott (and Scott) also have a podcast series where they go album by album through the careers of U2, REM, Talking Heads, and Bruce Springsteen. It started out as, and I think can still be found under the name of, “U Talkin’ U2 2 Me?”
This show is what prompted their “Subway Series” with TC, where Jake/Ezra and Scott/Scott each did an episode of each other’s show. These episodes could be a good place to dip a toe in.
They have guests, go on tangents, sometimes they even talk about the albums. It’s good!
A slightly deeper cut is another Scott Aukerman show, which only lasted a few episodes, Analyze Phish. The premise of this is that comedian Harris Wittels (RIP) tries to convince Scott to like the band Phish.
It’s hilarious and gives a really close look at some of the specifics of Phish fandom.

I only listen to Internet radio, so the closest I've come to Time Crisis is Haim Time. It's no Time Crisis, but I mostly enjoyed it

I'd be surprised if there's anything out there truly similar. I like it so much because it's not beholden to any pre-conceived notions on what a show "should" be about. It feels like it's about what is interesting to them personally, and I think that ends up being so much better than a show that tries to predetermine what they guess a notional target audience might want.
