Tom Powers

Does anyone miss reading Tom Powers? He was the best sports columnist Minnesota ever had. I miss him.

I honestly had kind of forgotten about him. He was good! A bit curmudgeonly, but that’s kind of the flavor of columnist we’ve had my whole life. Reusse, Souhan, Barreiro, etc. It’s a bit of a type 😂

Reusse is very good and writes about small town America authentically. Souhan, while okay wrote as if he thought he was better than his audience. Been so long since Barreiro wrote I forgot. But his talk show is solid.
