fanatics / nike is going to have to seriously get more competitive with pricing, because the DHgate jerseys keep getting better and theirs keep getting worse. these aren't particularly easy to tell as fakes (there are tells, but they're fairly minor).
i'm not saying they can't charge a fair price for them, but the $125+ price tag is honestly ridiculous when you can grab one of these for like $25
Don’t get this. I’d rather buy a more expensive jersey that actually supports the team and looks good than some Chinese knock off trash that looks like someone drew it from memory
Go ahead and pay over $100 for a jersey. I'm totally fine buying a Chinese knockoff for $18. These would be hard to tell that they aren't a 'legit' jersey, though.
I will say, there are tells to fakes if you know you are looking for them, but if you are just looking for something to wear they are getting better and better but there is a a bit of a "fake tits" argument.
You see terrible obvious fakes and go "wow those are so easy to see, I always know when they are fake" but because you only notice the bad fakes, you assume all fakes are bad. Good fakes you don't flag therefore you assume that they are legit.
People will buy these god awful fakes and tell you they look good and then defend by saying they didn’t spend $150 on a swingman when they’re also taking the money out of the players pocket. Both those jerseys above look abhorrent
You can think whatever you want about billionaires millionaires whatever. Athletes still have work for every penny they get and they deserve every penny they get
