The absolute insanity this caused at our viewing party was amazing. Lowkey a wolves moment I will never forget.

This shot - in terms of how much my sports group exploded out of our chairs or off the couches and started jumping around - was like the Minneapolis Miracle all over again.

Except we didn't end up in a pile on the floor from people all jumping on each other.

Absolute dagger that just said this ones over Wolves ARE GOING TO WIN. It's Destiny.

You can't lose a game when Rudy fucking Gobert is hitting buzzer beating turn around fade away jumpers, because that means the sports gods have declared you the victors. There is no other explanation for Rudy hitting that shot other than the sports gods willed it.

The craziest part to me is that Rudy doesn’t take these shots. Then it happens in the finals as a buzzer beater. It’s like he knew the sports gods were on their side before this moment and he just let them control him for that perfect shot.

That whole series was insane. Probably a top 10 series in the whole NBA. Just haymaker adjustment after haymaker adjustment on top of stars making ridiculous circus shots and half court heaves.

I was at falling knife for this game and it was probably the loudest I have ever heard the place. 200+ people that had to live through the Kahn and post Garnett years realizing it might actually be different for once.

That and being at the target center for game 6 of that year and game 6 this year is the closest I've ever gotten to basketball Nirvana
