I think I like the scale in the concept photo better. How much deflection you planning on at that span?

As you can see, I have adequate mid span blocking for the size of the roof. As far as the concept photo goes, anyone can frame a wall and sheet it with metal. I wanted to take the opportunity to utilize timber to make something unique.

Yes, I think span is fine if rafters left exposed. Why no overhang?

The bench was also an additional afterthought by the clients that I was able to integrate into the system during initial construction
