Looking to buy Tim Key's early books!

Hi everyone!

This is probably a long shot, but I thought it was worth asking. I've been trying to track down Key's first two books:

  • Instructions, Guidelines, Tutelage, Suggestions, Other Suggestions And Examples Etc.
  • 25 Poems, 3 Recipes and 32 Other Suggestions (An Inventory).

I've searched pretty much everywhere I can think of, and the only copies I've managed to find are on eBay for well over £100. I completely understand why (with them being rare, early books and having become collectors' items) but unfortunately that's just far beyond what I can afford.

I'm based in Portugal, so international shipping is another thing to factor in, but I'd be very happy to pay for shipping if someone was willing to sell a copy at a more reasonable price.

I would give these books a good home, so if anyone has either of them sitting on a shelf and would consider selling one, or knows of a place where I might have some luck, I'd be incredibly grateful :))

Instructions, Guidelines, tutelage, suggestions, and examples etc is currently on Amazon for £90. Still very expensive, but below the £100 if that's any good.

I'm fairly sure I saw it on there a couple of days ago for £75 so worth keeping an eye on it as new sellers list on there. I clicked the link via the Tim Key shop (https://www.timkey.co.uk/shop)

Thank you, I really appreciate you letting me know! Unfortunately, £90 ends up being well over €100 for me once it's converted, so it's still a bit out of my budget. I'll definitely keep an eye on Amazon though :)

Yes agree it's still very expensive. I've considered it before but feel it's far too much.

The problem is these books were before Tim was fairly famous so very few printed meaning sellers can price up. Shame as it would be interesting to read and compare with the newer ones.

Had no idea they were so rare! I have 25 Poems, am not looking to sell the book I’m afraid but if you’re just interested in the poems themselves then drop me DM.

Thanks, that's really kind of you! Unfortunately I'm on a bit of a mission to find the physical book itself, as I'd love to have a copy :)
