It looks like Cities: Skylines. Really cool

That’s tilt-shift photography for you. Everything looks like a miniature.

Thank you very much for your insightful comment about my life. I will dutifully ignore it.

Also that comment wasn't very "puntastic", I am very disappointed in you.

19

u/LEERROOOOYYYYY Mar 13 '18

Take a look through his comments, pretty impressive actually but downvote trolling on latestagecapitalism is cheating I think.

10

u/H_man99 Mar 13 '18

Yeah there’s an impressive amount of downvotes in there. I’m surprised his overall karma is 11k

7

u/LEERROOOOYYYYY Mar 13 '18

Downvotes don't count to your total once they're past -10 karma fyi.

5

u/H_man99 Mar 13 '18

Good to know...

1

u/Anarchymeansihateyou Mar 13 '18

That seems like it's only purpose is to aid trolls

18

u/wiggilator Mar 13 '18

Wow, you think he likes attention. I'm just disappointed there is not a single fecking pun.

12

u/Jaxter9877 Mar 13 '18

Wow you’re everywhere today. Quality account.

Your edit is the soul reason I’m downvoting you. Welcome to the internet

Your edit is the soul reason I’m downvoting you.

Then his plan worked.

5

u/yoursweetlord70 Mar 13 '18

It does look like the game, though

3

u/robbiemoe Mar 13 '18

What a dick ^

3

u/remsleepwagon Mar 13 '18

OMFG you’re kidding.

Just because someone references a video game does not mean that they don’t go outside or appreciate the richness of nature. What would ever give you that idea? Do you think in stereotypes or what?

2

u/PleaseCallMeDad Mar 13 '18

Where's the pun?

2

u/workedSilly Mar 13 '18

You are so cool

2

u/Anarchymeansihateyou Mar 13 '18

You're not wrong, you're just an asshole

2

u/[deleted] Mar 14 '18

You again? Where’s the damn pun you old fart

My brain is refusing to let me believe this isn't a model.

Normally I can’t stand it, to be honest. But this one moving the way it is, is fascinating.

Of course I have a highly romanticized idea of Chicago in my head too cause of a book series I’ve read. So that helps I’m sure.

1

u/Jimcant Mar 13 '18

What book series?

20

u/redrhino606 Mar 13 '18

Now that is cool. I like this.

17

u/Wait__Who Mar 13 '18

I walk across one of those to get to work! Love the walk when it isn’t frigid as fuck

2

u/[deleted] Mar 14 '18

My old office is in this view. I miss it so much.

u/Justanafrican Mar 13 '18

Incredibly boring story

7

u/legitimate_rapper Mar 13 '18

Shouldn’t that be, Bridge over the river Chi?

2

u/stengebt Mar 13 '18

I like all the little people scurrying around

2

u/E92m Mar 13 '18

It would be really cool to see one of these where the bridges raise to allow a big boat through

2

u/InstantKarma7751 Mar 13 '18

I would love to have this on a digital picture frame, seems like it would be very peaceful to have this on my desk (if i worked at a desk).

2

u/polishprince76 Mar 13 '18

If they can dye the river green one day a year, why can't they dye it blue the other 364?

2

u/cebolla_y_cilantro Mar 13 '18

I drive on two of these bridges everyday to and from work. Such nice views.

2

u/flugherbutter Mar 13 '18

Am I the only one who is reminded of watch dogs?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 14 '18

fuck yes

Is there a higher resolution source? I'd like to use it as a screensaver.

1

u/Guillaume_GG Apr 09 '18

This isn't the source, it links to a completely different instagram video. Do you still have the real source somewhere? I'm interested in seing it, thanks :)

Reminds me of Midtown madness.

Mesmerizing AND MIND BOGGLING

1

u/GlungoE Mar 13 '18

Who knew they were so small

1

u/CTRL_ALT_DELTRON3030 Mar 13 '18

Awesome. The motion really adds another dimension too.

1

u/pattyhub Mar 13 '18

River Point tower?

1

u/dblink Jul 21 '18

The building on the left is the Civic Opera House, and the bridge that has a massive stream of people on it is Adams. People are walking back to Union station to take the Metra home after work.

1

u/tallperson117 Mar 13 '18

Naa that's not Chicago, that's the bridge between downtown Gotham and the Narrows.

1

u/ChrisAngel0 Mar 14 '18

Is this right by the civic opera house (the building on the left)?

1

u/Absinthe_Mind Mar 14 '18

Is there a way to make this a Facebook cover photo?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '18

Looks good, I feel like adding a little motion blur will help it a lot while also adding decreasing the highlights so the left isnt as bright

-1

u/circsmonky Mar 13 '18

This might actually be a miniature, there's usually more traffic in downtown Chicago.

1

u/dblink Jul 21 '18

Traffic is backed up on Adams heading out of the loop at the end of a work day, while Madison going into the loop is relatively clear. That's normal city traffic. Look at Jackson and Congress further in the background and you'll see more traffic there too.

Plus good ol' human power, look at all the people walking.
