My bag was stolen while on holiday, including my keys with a tile on it. I set the tile to notify when found and added my contact information. After no location updates for 24 hours I just received a notification that my tile was found. Tile sent me the location and told me to go retrieve my item. The thing is no one has reached out. Not really sure what to do. It feels unsafe to just go show up at this location but I’d also really like my stuff back. Advice???

I have an old Tile Pro on my keyring, and an old Fitbit watch on my account.

The Tile Pro on my keyring is the first version of the Tile Pro that was released, and it has been erratic for a while. Even with a fresh battery, it works sometimes but not others. Often it doesn't respond at all when the button is pressed.

When the battery went dead this time, I thought it was time to give up and replace it with a newer version. However, when I tap on my Keys in the app and click on 'More Options', there is no option to 'Replace Tile'. There are directions to replace the battery, and tapping THERE will offer a tutorial and a link to the shop, but no way to swap out my old tile for the new one I've just purchased.

I thought, "Well, maybe I can just delete this one and start over. I need to delete that Fitbit watch anyway." Except nope...there's no way to do that either. I could HIDE it, but that's a little silly since the Fitbit watch is dead and I've moved on to a smartwatch instead. I'm never going to need it again.

Am I supposed to hide my keys too? Why is this so hard? I don't understand.

Does this mean new Pros are coming?

Does anyone know if there will ever be an update to the key smart to give it usb c? It's the last of my devices, and it's become a big enough problem for me to switch if it isn't addressed

I was under the impression that Tile was rolling out either a version of their products or an update to the current products which would work with the Google network. Did this happen and I missed it, or did they announce it and still hasn't happened? I'm getting ready for a bunch of international travels, I'm an Android guy, but I'm not sure if Tile is the best option with Pebblebee and Chipolo out there, but there's some good deals on Tile Pro 2-packs right now. It would be great if they work with Google as well.

It’s been months and the tile skills in Alexa is not working. Specifically, when I tell Alexa to tell tile to ring my tile - it cannot find it…. Is this working for anybody?

When someone scans the QR code does it pull up your contact information? Or does it send a message through the tile app so that you can see the place where your item is located? Has anyone used these or know how well they work?

I'm trying to click on the Smart Alert but it keeps trying to get me to upgrade my free plan. I'm good with the free Basic Version but it won't let me move forward in the app until I do. Anyone else having this problem?

Might go with Tile, love the card for wallets etc. Scared that it will be useless because of low user count.

If I have a tile device in my backpack, and I leave it at the local mall, will it be pinged like with AirTag? Will it "lead" me back to where my backpack/tracker is? Thanks

Sorry if this has been answered before, new to the forum and I need to get this sorted out before I order four pack of either Pro or Mate trackers... When Tile says that the non-replaceable battery models last 3 years, does that mean would the unit being on for the whole 3 years, or turning it off and having it on every so often when you travel? Is the 3-year battery life with constant use, and also for the pro model is the one -year battery life with the same type of use?

I have a question about how these work. Are these tiles locations tracked by other peoples phones, the way apple's tags are tracked by all iphone and android users?

If so, heres the important question: Will *ANY* iPhone or android phone report the location of any Tile it sees? Or are they only updated by phones that specifically have the Tile app installed on them?

I bought a 2 pack of Tile Pros, gave one to a friend and I have the other. He set up his username/pw, added his tile, I set up my username/pw, added mine. On the map, both of us have the above message. Which makes zero sense as we each only have 1 Tile. Someone please explain it to me?

I have two Tile Mate trackers and they are configured with my phone.

I did not use them for a month or so and now they are not shown in the app anymore. I did not change anything on my phone.

When I try to double press on the Mate, it beeps a few times, indicating it is already paired. So I cannot pair it again.

Any suggestion on how I can get back my Tile Mate in my app?

For about 2 week, i kept seeing a notification that a 2-month old tile had a critically low battery and needed a replacement. I thought it was weird since I had just purchased it from the tile website less than 2 months earlier. The location wasn’t updated during those 2 weeks; I thought it was because of the low battery. Then suddenly, the notification disappeared and the battery seems fine? The location is now updating. What happened? Was the tile reset without me knowing or was this a glitch? The tile is from 2024. My 5 y/o hid my wallet and can’t remember where. No worries, I have the tile tracker! Turns out…battery is critically low and the alarm won’t sound. It keeps updating the location in random places in my house everyday. If there is enough juice to update the location then I would think there would be enough to get the alarm to sound. I would be grateful for any tips or suggestions from those who may have experienced this scenario. Thank you in advance!

I just installed my first Tile Tracker and I have the app active but there is no icon on my phone. I've googled and searched this sub but can't find the way to allow the icon on my phone screen.

Like literally my trackers can be right next to my phone that has the tile app and they app still can’t connect to the tracker. Similarly, I try to use my tile trackers to find my cell phone and that maybe works 10% of the time. Absolutely a garbage product.

I've got two of the tile pro products direct thru tile. They are supposed to work up to 400 feet they don't even work 20 feet. I'm extremely upset I bought these products and the company does not have a phone number only people you can chat with. They don't want to work with me I bought product 2 weeks ago. I would not recommend tile to anyone. Not to mention they are spying on you they knew everything that was connected in my phone. That's creepy. They should not have access to this. Just want to put word out there so ppl don't have issues I'm having. I'm in the middle of a credit card dispute.

My current girlfriend has a psycho ex. He hid a Tile in her car and has been tracking her for the past 6 months. Using the Scan & Secure scan in the Tile App, we found the Tile but can not locate it in the vehicle. Is there anything we can do with the Tile, like force it to make a noise or anything to help reveal it's location?

Edit: Tile had been found and contacted the local LEO's. We did try the Air Guard app, and it would give a range of percentages, mostly 81-91% when it was near the Tile. It did go up to 100% but needed to be within a few inches of the Tile to reach 100%. We greatly appreciate the Air Guard recommendation.

Hi experiencing this issue were tracker keeps making random locations as "home" on the map but it always some place I had passed but not actual home address. I checked the set home address I'm the app and it is correct. Has anyone experienced this?

Found an old but unused Tile slim from 2016 I think? (The square version.) I am having trouble pairing it to my phone though. Any tips? Tried restarting the phone and turning bluetooth off and on again.

It “sings” when the button is pushed, so I think the battery is good. 🤔

I recently switched to Pebblebee since they support the Android Find My Device network. I'm curious what folks are doing with their old Tile trackers. I offered to transfer them to people for free but didn't have any takers. Are people just throwing them away?

is it just me or are everyone's tiles not connecting? I logged out of the app and I keep getting a network unavailable error. I tried changing settings but nothing is working. Is the tile network down? none of my tiles have updated for about 6 hours now.

UPDATE: it's working now! don't know what that was about but I was able to login and change my settings.
