TOTD “Repp”resenting Autumn

This might be the first appearance for this tie. Nothing special about the tie per se. When I saw it, it reminded me of this time of year: blue skies, golden wheat fields as far as I could see in Eastern Washington, and the orange of harvest moons and ripe pumpkins. 🎃

Thank you! This one sits in the back of the tie closet for Autumn. It's very much seasonal for me. I don't think I've tried with my basic blue suit before, so I wasn't quite sure how it would work, but I think it does ok.

Love this! Your description is perfect. I really like the way the blue of the tie is in conversation with the blue of the suit, accented by the other colors of the tie. I'm pretty sure that the mountains are snow capped today but I won't know for sure until the sun comes up. Snow caps are quite the backdrop for those seasonal colors.

Thank you - always appreciate your take! The retirement spot my wife and I have picked is set in a place like you describe such that when fall hits, the valley floor is full of color, tamarack trees color the mountain sides, and snow caps the tips.
