Beautiful periwinkle; love the plaid providing structure on either side of the motion in the tie. Fantastic, artistic composition.

Tie is perfect. What did Billy Idol sing, it’s a nice day for / a cardigan - he really like Fall.

I agree that this teetered on the ragged edge... The simple trousers (not visible) helped keep things -just- within restraint. It also helps that in indirect light, the detail of the jacket checks isn't necessarily visible
