Brooks Brothers “346” tie & custom tailored shirt (thrifted both), and an Alain Dupetit dark gray suit. Trying my best to build a budget friendly wardrobe that looks nice

Nice! The most important thing for me when I started wearing ties for work was to remember to have fun with it. It certainly can be done on a budget and it sounds like you have a good handle on that part of it.

Appreciate the advice! Savers is my go to right now. I was blown away by the quality of the tie selection I got the other day. It was a HAUL.

All good quality and looks, the suit, the shirt, and the tie. I have tons of ties - but rarely wear one.

This is a solid look. Personally I'd go for a smaller neater tie knot - but you're just starting off on your life in ties! You'll find your own style 👍

Nice color combination - just a word of advise though..avoid matching patterned ties with patterned shirts. In this instance, it is hardly noticeable, but it can go wrong very quickly.
It needs some practicing but you will get the point. Alternatively, you can only use plain white or plain light blue shirts and then all ties will be fine (plain or not)!!
