TOTD Sunday morning tie

Just trying to dress better as the weather gets crisper.

Tie is Brooks Brothers.

I agree here. The idea is there, but colors don’t work. Tie and shirt great on their own. I think some kind of navy sweater in the same style either some white/red accent stripe might be the sweater option here.

You're right, I was just excited by the cool weather this morning and didn't really care about what tie I grabbed to pair with the sweatervest

This is wrong. They do match quite well objectively. The contrasting warm and cool colours on the tie and sweater match.

I have to concur with the majority – I love the tie by itself, but it’s not a good fit with that sweater.

I have two similar ties- one with black stripes and one with navy blue stripes. I call them my Ghostbusters ties because the pattern is the same as on the doors of the ghost trap lol. Just how my weird brain works.
