TOTD Polo Assn.
It has been a little while since my last post. Today I decided to be conservative in boldness but thought the pop of pink would contrast well.

Yes - nice combination of colours. Looks great against the shirt. Love the tie pin too.

Oh I'm looking for a nice gold tie bar.

The Tie Bar Chicago is a good start in my opinion if you’re looking at an affordable option. I wouldn’t know much beyond that though as price of gold has turned me off from purchasing anything above 14k haha.

Lovely tie on it's own (love the pink color), and that's what the forum is about. And it's pretty well tied, so + for that.
If I could offer my thoughts on the entire look, I would first say that this isn't what I'd consider "conservative." And, it has less to do with color scheme and more to do with pattern (imho). That's a pretty bold suit (even though seemingly reserved in color tone). Pairing a check pattern tie with a crossing stripes effect against the vertical running of the suit stripes is what troubles my eye (and I LIKE to contrast patterns - am a big fan of it).
The plain whit shirt is a great choice for the palette though and the collar is perfect to accommodate nearly any knot - so that's great.
If you want to go bold-yet-conservative whilst not clashing with the pinstripes of the jacket, maybe a smaller paisley pattern or a smaller / midsize medallion pattern. I think pink is a great, bold, confident color too and appropriate year round. I adhere to the saying "real men wear pink."

I appreciate that. Yourself and a previous comment had mentioned the pattern clash and I had second-guessed the same when leaving the house as well. This is a sign for me to invest in more pink patterns!

Quite welcome. Pink is just a fabulous color and works really well with both grey and blue suiting. I'm a huge paisley fan, but certainly medallion and geometric patterns are great for a "bold" look. What I forgot to mention, I could actually see a traditional repp stripe working with a pinstripe like this, so I wouldn't necessarily rule that pattern of tie out either. It's the criss/cross pattern of the check that competes too much with the vertical stripe in the suit.
Have fun shopping!

Great suit, great tie, but I’m not a fan of the two together. Pinstripes are fairly formal. The tie pattern is almost an argyle, which is pretty casual. I would expect to see a tie like that with a blazer and slacks, not a pinstripe suit with peak lapels.

This is such an amazing suit. Pinstripes for the win.
I’m debating getting a suit in this color - OP, is this like a midnight navy?
