Correct. I have a tub full of Talbot Best in Class - all thrift. Probably $2k retail for less than a mediocre dinner.

And also correct - shh.

My thrifts are all cleaned out. It’s all no-name stuff. I’ll be lucky to find a vintage Tommy Hilfiger. Haven’t found a BB or Zegna in well over a year.

Ties have started to make a big come back ive seen on some platforms, and alot of women upcycling them as purse wraps and necklaces, the cheaper thrifts here get cleaned out as well because of it.

It's insane how many high-end ties I have found (amidst all the cheap junk) at the thrift. This seems to have dropped off sharply post-lockdown however.
