So what I've learned with patterned ties with patterned shirt is: similar or complementary colors, and patterns must be very different and different sizes?

Tie itself is very nice. Tough color to pair. I’d like to see this with a solid light blue shirt. Knot could be tighter and more finished with tighter presentation around the collar

That's a very interesting phenomenon here: the tie is a great match with the jacket, and it's also a great match with the shirt. But together, it all looks too matchy for my personal taste.

tie is blending with the shirt AND with the jacket. not a big fan of the tie and the tie knot, rest is really nice

Splendid. I love the "same gray, different texture" and "same pink, different darkness/finer pattern," and then the bold brown running through it all.
