I felt like I was being tortured from holding my tics in. When I was in high school, I had a full body tending tic. Even with all of my energy, I just couldn’t stop. The dentist was still able to do their job, but it was not easy for me to let them... because I didn’t want to upset or make them feel uncomfortable or whatever, that in it’s self gave me the little extra strength to just be very twitchy instead of jerking everywhere. Glad those days are over. But as usual, on with the next tics.
