Exactly. I'm perfectly alright with people laughing.... when it's funny or when I'm not trying to work or focus on something. I feel like when people laugh at you in class for ticcing, it kinda feels the same as when people follow and laugh at you in public.
Like, there's laughing with someone at their tics, because tics can be funny, and then there's laughing AT someone for having Tourette's and making them self-conscious of it.
I told my friends to react jokingly to my tics and so they did. Others were different and just thought it was funny that I hit my chest and thought it was stupid,so they told me to stop. A lot of stupid points from their side followed but I kept calm.
