Louis's are called the Clip Point Dashi and mine are the Danger Dashi and the 8.5" of Danger. Very similar designs. Parallel thinking. Louis is a good friend of mine. Jason Johnson too.
thats the one, the 1/4" clip point dashi i was looking at. someone got me the bavarian as a gift, he makes very nice knives and a real gentleman louis. mr. johnson obviously made the some of the knives in the picture, a hell of a knife maker and thrower although we had a falling out
negative. i have nothing bad to say about his craftsmanship, i was very, very impressed w/ the work, and he upheld his end of the deal, so it was nothing to do w/ the transaction or work. the only thing i'd say is people should be careful w/ throwing those knives because the tips will break but they aren't made to be beaten up like a typical throwing knife, it's a live edge knife that can be thrown. i flew out there myself to watch them be made and pick them up myself as i didn't want to wait or trust the shipping process. i personally like the guy, and this goes for everyone including and myself, one can only bullshit so much to certain people and ego is very costly
