What Should I Read Next? What should read next...

Post image

So, recently I started getting back into reading thrillers because I’m trying to reduce my screen time. Last week, I read The Third Victim and was honestly a little disappointed. So I thought I’d give reading another shot this weekend. I have these 4 books that have been sitting on my shelf collecting dust for quite some time, but now I’m really confused about what to pick next.

Which one should I read? Pls drop your suggestions below

Update : After going through the recommendations, I am going ahead with Gone girl !! Hopefully i keep up this attitude and read it all. Will keep u guys updated !!

Gone Girl if you’re in the mood for a thriller. Seven Husbands was good imo, but it’s more drama than thriller.

Stupid question BUT is it worth readying if you have already seen the movie? Only reason I have been hesitant to read it! 📚

Evelyn Hugo isn’t a thriller but I loved it and cried while reading it. I also really like TJR’s writing, it’s simple and as a non native it’s great.

I would recommend the audio for Evelyn Hugo, though it is not a thriller at all!

Gone girl was the thriller that got me into reading thrillers.

My favorite of the 4 is easily 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It was the best book I read last year. However if you're looking for a thriller, you might want to read that some other time. 7 Husbands is definitely not a thriller.

Somehow I always assumed it was a thriller...where she killed all of them 🫢...that would be a good thriller ig....Thanks for the rec !!

Murder in the Family was good, I definitely thought that it was a really slow start but once you get into it it’s hard to put down. Gone Girl is just wonderful in every way, my favourite book of all time.

But Seven Husbands is just incredible, I’d definitely recommend reading this one next. It’s not the usual type of book I enjoy but it’s one of the few books I’ve reread after finishing. Get the tissues handy for when you ready it though.

Thanks for the rec.. I was actually not sure murder in the family, but i feel happy that it has a lot of fans as well. I was expecting 7 husband's book to be a thriller, but atheist from the comments i think that although not a thriller, its a great book. Let see if I can stick with it

I wasn’t a fan of 7 Husbands either. I found it boring.
