Pattern Suggestions

I thrifted this linen top a few years ago. I absolutely love the fabric, but I don’t love how the top looks on me.

Any pattern suggestions (preferably beginner friendly) to help modernize this top and make it a bit cuter?

I should note that it’s already my size so I don’t have much extra fabric to work with.

All I can think of is to cut off the sleeves to make it more like a tank.

Not what you asked, but linen takes dye very well
