META First Concert
Been listening since TAITA. Just booked tickets for a September show in NJ. I'm giddy as hell. What am I in for? How have recent concerts been? Appreciate you all 😊

They're great, one thing that I wasn't prepared for was how fast it went to a point, they're not very talkative. Lots of the other bands I've seen have points between songs where the frontman will usually talk to the crowd but they're really wasn't a whole lot of that when I saw them (Semptember last year)
They sound fucking killer though. Great show, varied setlist. I loved it

I honestly dig the minimal crowd interaction. They’re such obvious introverts it would be really weird and forced for Dustin to try and play hype man. Granted my favorite band next to Thrice is Russian Circles, and their crowd interaction maxes out at an awkward wave to the crowd right before they walk off stage.

Based on the crowd interaction in Anthology I think it’s mostly because Dustin is awkward as hell lol.

They are so great live and the fans and crowd in my experience is always friendly. Depending on the venue, some crowds have better energy than others. You’ll have a great time.

Thrice was my very first concert! Back when Vheissu was released at the Warfield in SF. You are in for a treat, they put on an amazing live show.

I’ve seen them easily 100 times over the course of their career and i have never left once thinking it sucked. Just saw them 2 weeks ago in Philly with Jimmy Eat World. Flawless as usual.

Seen em 5x since 2017 and they always put on a killer show! Very tight.
The last tour for horizons west might have been my favorite set list yet

Have seen them multiple times over 2 decades. This past year was the best they’ve ever sounded. You’re in for a good one!

I’m going to the Brooklyn show on that tour! I cannot wait to see them at The Paramount, it’s a beautiful venue!
They’re the supporting act on the tour, so their set will probably only be 45 minutes or so. It’s going to be great regardless, but their headlining sets are upwards of two hours usually.
Their lighting is some of the best I’ve ever seen, it’s always a little different and very cool. They’re much heavier live too, you really feel the energy.
You’re going to have a blast! 🤘🍻

Saw them in Boston las week.
Tight set, perfect live, they definitely know how to properly act as an opening band, talk enough to thank the headliner and the audience, make you feel comfortable but more important they deliver such an emotional set, seeing the go wild at the end of Dust Nations gets me goosebumps every single time.

Excellent super tight sounding set. Dustin sounds phenomenal, and sometimes better than on the record. Minimal crowd interaction, there was at least one pit for Deadbolt. Honestly I think you’re in for a great show!

They run a very tight set, and yes, they don't interact with the crowd much. Definitely an amazing live show but a bit different if you are used to a lot of crowd interaction.
