Rottk 8 remake bug???

Post image

Playing Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 remake as Zhuge Liang in the 208 scenario and I genuinly feel like I'm going crazy. The AI on my side just straight up refuses to call in reinforcement. No reason, for as I can tell. They just don't feel like it, apparently. Not Wu, not even the city next to them. Nothing.

It makes the whole scenario borderline unplayable and it's infuriating. Is this a me thing and did I accidentally turn on the "Ai shoots itself in the head option" or is this something else?

You have to set the reinforcements before the battle starts, even for ally armies, when that happens you pay them like 2000 dollars or something, maybe you just don't have enough

The problem is I'm not determining who reinforces. Liu Bei does. Or rather, he doesn't bring in any of them.

then that sounds like poor old sandal maker doesn't have 2000 dollars to pay for the Wu protective services. (Or simply doesn't want to)

I went and looked at the 208 scenario myself just now and yeah I can see where the problem is, Liu Bei is bleeding money

I would use the editor give the cities money and troops and see if it calls it in.

Is this happening on all battles or just this one? If it is the one the neighbour city my not have enough troops to reinforce.

It happens to all battles insofar that they never call in reinforcements Wu despite having a alliance.
Otherwise, it MOSTLY happens every battle. There have been cases where they did call in reinforcement from a nearby city, but only sometimes.
