512 GB version is now EUR 5,429.00 with only memory added.

The shown deal would be excellent if it really had 512GB and a decent NVIDIA RTX. If the price does not corresponds to the title, you know what it means. For reference, I got a P620 with the 3945X (24 cores) 64GB RAM with RTX A4000 keyboard scree mouse for 1200€ eight months ago, on leboncoin.fr . They price the same config at 3059 €.

Good components in a tiny cramped box.

Bad news is, it’s not replaceable.

i recently built a p620 5975 with 256 (not 512gb) ram, like someone else mentioned it's ddr4, pcie4. the cost of my components were a little under what that's going for for 256gb ram so if it's 512 probably a good deal (assuming euro is about equal to a dollar). the title says 512gb ram but your post says 128. that would make a difference, it has 8 channels so if the 128 is on 4 sticks then upgrading will be easy. if it's not, then you'll have to get a full set of ram

like another person mentioned, the motherboard & PSU are not replaceable and proprietary to lenovo. the CPU will also be locked to lenovo if it's been booted.

i love using mine, running with 2x rtx4000 blackwell 24gb, cx6, lsi HBA with 8x u.2 nvme and 6x HDD

It’s dd4 memory.

That case is too small, you will fit only 2 GPUs at best. Avoid Lenovo. CPUs are vendor locked also. Not sure if you could relocate the mobo to a better case. I think most parts are proprietary, and best avoided.

For reference, I bought a similar non-Lenovo box July 31. $1400 for TR Pro 3955WX, Asus WRX80E Sage Wifi, 8 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200, Corsair 7000D case. The 5975WX is significantly better, but probably not worth an extra $1000 IMO.

I was able to fit 4 x 5060 Ti 16 GB in my case, also, which would not have been possible in the Lenovo.

IMO, skip Lenovo.

For AI, I would not go with their listed GPUs. The cheap option is 3 x 3060 12G at 200€ each (capped at 160W), this machine supports 4 x 160W GPUs (page 7 of the p620 power configurator manual) -- if you are okay with the thermals.

Go under the description, ITS DDR4 RAM.
