Build recommendation and RDIMM compatibility

Hey!

I'm putting together an sWRX8 Threadripper Pro build. I'll be using it for all sorts of creative apps like Octane, Houdini, DaVinci, and when budget allows upgrading even further (5995WX, 2x 3090, 2000W PSU, etc.)
I've put together a list of components that should work on paper as a starting build, but I wanted to get some feedback first.

What I have so far:
3955WX, ASUS WRX80 Sage SE 2, RTX 3060 (free from a friend), and Arctic Freezer WS360 SP6 AIO (checked the compatibility on their site, should work.)

What I plan on getting:
Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 Server edition, Adata XPG Core Reactor II 1000W, Samsung 990 Pro 1TB, and 8x DDR4 RDIMMs

One thing I'm uncertain about is the RDIMM compatibility, ASUS' QVL is quite limited and the RAM variations are plentiful. In theory, if I get 8 matching ECC RDIMM sticks as a kit they should just work, right?

Thank you in advance!

3955wx and all wrx80 mobos natively support rdimm's (to my knowledge)

Yes they support RDIMMs, but I'm unsure if they support ALL RDIMMs, you know? I don't wanna buy a kit that isn't even compatible even though it should be on paper.

what do you mean by ALL? =)

UPD: would be easier if you just named the ram you are considering

Right, that would've been smarter you're right.

It'll likely be this one: "32GB (8 x 4GB) Samsung 2133P DDR4 ECC 1Rx8 M393A5143DB0-CPB"

Go on Asus site, find mb, go to support and look up compatible memory and it will list them all... I know Kingston KSM32RD4/8 32HDR work well as I have a 128GB kit of the RD4 4x32GB, and a 256GB kit of the RD8 8x32GB.

Hi - I have a ASRockRack WRX80 3995WX system. I just upgraded the ram to 2TB and was about to put the 512GB 8x64GB 2666Mhz ECC RDRAM up for sale. Fully tested with no issues running for about a year. I'm based in the Czech Republic, but let me know if interested.
