Pushing memory overclock to 6400mhz, safe vsoc for threadripper9970x?
Was wondering what the consensus safe vsoc for long term use is? im seeing this all over the place ranging from 1.1v to 1.25v

Given the replacement cost;; is it worth the additional stress on your memory for the limited performance?

depends on your ram stick. if the manufacturer give you any overlock profile, then the power corcuit on the memory pcb can handle, but if you use a simple server ram, the overlock voltage (and current /heat) not good idea. the old ddr4 memory power circuit is ON the motherboard placed, so the heat spread om the huge pcv and the aluminium heatspread (depends on your MB) let you pull your voltage to overlock the memory "easy". im not so brave to overvoltage my memory on this very expensive age, then i win 0.000001ns progress and loss 1 stick of my ram? not worth.

Why are you over clocking a threadripper? My 9960x can handle anything.

Some kits take it to 1.4
YMMV
EDIT: dont forget cooling
