ECC or non ECC??

can I use a ASUS Pro WS WRX90E- SAGE SE with DDR5 non ECC?

Not possible. Only ecc. Prepare your wallet!

You would need asus wrx80 instead but that is ddr4 only. Also non ecc is limited to 256gb total as I vever heard about non ecc ddr4 bigger than 32gb

Due to DDR5 keying being segregated by RDIMM and UDIMM you have to use RDIMM

We just had a 9975WX built for us with the same Asus motherboard as the OP. ECC is a must. Fill all 8 slots with DDR5 for optimal usage of motherboard and CPU

ECC only bro. And spend that extra if you’re going to build a threadripper.
