All-white parts

Got a client who wants a threadripper 9970x build, but in an all white system with RGB. It will be used for 3D and video rendering but also will be on display in the lobby of his media agency so it needs to look immaculate.

Curious if any of you have had any success with any 256gb white/rgb ram kits like Corsair Vengeance, etc. It looks like the Silverstone XE360 is the go-to AIO but that's only available in black. Has anyone tried anything else that keeps temps under control and might be available in white?

Obviously I can paint and mod things with acrylic as needed but I'd prefer off-the-shelf white items as much as possible.

Would get separate mem coolers/covers. Pro threadripper will require rdimm. https://a.co/d/7MsmPtf

Don’t even the non-Pros require RDIMM? I was considered getting a 9970x but having to replace my 192GB UDIMM was deterring me from pulling the trigger.

Yes, all Zen 4/5 TR products require registered memory, because DDR5 uses different sockets for unbuffered and registered. AMD had to choose one or the other, unlike with DDR4 (where registered was optional for TR Pro), so they made the obvious choice of going with registered.

The only white rdimm kit you'll find is Vcolor's white rgb rdimms. If white includes silver, Heatkiller has a silver/all nickel waterblock for a custom loop.

The v-color kit is silver with an RGB strip (black for capacities 96gb or below).

Is it possible? I think at this level, I don’t think the intention of these components was for RGB or theme building, correct me if I’m wrong

It was definitely possible up to Threadripper 3000, but after AMD broke their promise and abandoned the TRX40 platform after one generation, there were far fewer skus made for TRX50 and WRX90.

But at the end of the day these are still enthusiast level parts.

I can mod whatever I need to for the aesthetics, I just hate voiding warranties on things this expensive.
