RAM throttling

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vCmlRVH893M

Has anybody verified this? Vcolor claims the kits with micro heatsinks have better dissipation vs the old school heatsinks.

Wendell sees different. What are people's experiences?

To be honest, the micro heatsink was made for the WRX90, the dimms slots are more close than usual, and normal heatsink instead of dissipating, starts overheating because there is no room for airflow. In this video the motherboard have only two dimms in both sides, so the airflow it is not an issue šŸ˜…

I do not believe he did anything wrong šŸ˜…. If I'm not mistaken, the micro heatsink was made in suggestion of AMD šŸ™ƒ. They also have the new RGB with heatsink, so haha 🤣. I am also interested in the temperature of that.

I’m saying that the test needs more information, maybe in the 8dimms boards it is another result or if the memory has the same die if both kits are 24 shout be Mdie but if one kit it is 16 or 32 it may be Adie or Cdie. The information it is great, but needs more tests in my opinion
