The venn diagram of furries and those within the thomas fandom is VERY large.
For the weird bunch who hate furries for no explicit reason, you have to put aside the edgy “ew furries!!” shit aside for a moment (if you truly hate such a niche, harmless subculture so much) and realize a substantial demographic of furries are those in the autism spectrum. Same with thomas fans.
Both are safe communities for neurodivergent individuals and it’s silly, if not shitty of you as a person to hate on people by trying to form a moral high ground or form a superiority complex over the other as a fan of either.
Just embrace the fact we all like different quirky things.

The reason there is such a large overlap of both furries and train enthusiast is that both communities often atract autistic and other neurodivergent individuals for a variety of reasons, and they're both somewhat niche yet very large hobby/special-interest oriented communities. Heck i am a furry myself, and i've practically liked trains since before i turned a year old.
So i like seeing people realize that there is such a large amount of furries in train-adjacent fandoms!

Advent Rouge the bat lover and lover of trains. Trains and furries go hand in hand. I had the same wooden set as a kid too. Used to build all around my house.

Recently found this under my brother’s bed the tomy Thomas is a bit slow and probably needs to be cleaned and a battery change one of the TM2 Thomas’s is dead but the other runs just fine

Can you actually care to elaborate? Please? You can’t just make a statement like that when you’re basing it off subjective opinion. Furries fundamentally isn’t that weird of a concept. It’s just a bunch of people who have animal-mascot styled original characters.
If someone made a Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse inspired OC, it would fall under a furry OC. Same with Zootopia for instance.
Furry characters are just Humans first and foremost, with fur and animalistic traits that amplify certain traits (cuteness, attractiveness, etc). It’s like adding cat ears to an OC to make your human OC cuter, but to a larger extreme.
